Broken down in the yard
Most wooden playsets are far too big to move in one piece. We take them apart in the yard, from the swings, slide and climbing wall to the fort and the frame, and load the pieces as we go so there's no pile left on the lawn.
Metal swing sets come apart the same way. If posts or legs are set in concrete, you decide how they come out. We can dig out the concrete footings, which costs extra, or cut the posts as low to the ground as possible. We price both at the free on-site estimate.
Wood, metal and plastic
A playset that's still sturdy and safe can go to donation. Metal frames, chains and hardware go to recycling where possible. Rotted lumber and worn-out plastic go to disposal.
When the set is gone, we pick up the loose bolts, broken boards and debris from where it stood.

We take down playsets on the Main Line, across Montgomery County, in nearby Delaware and Chester County, and in Northwest Philadelphia. Same-day and next-day appointments are available, with a 2-hour arrival window and a call about 30 minutes before we get there.

Say yes and we start right away. We load everything, sweep up after ourselves, and take it to donation, recycling or disposal.
Questions
Do I need to take the playset apart first?
No. Taking it apart is part of the job, so there's no need to spend a weekend with a wrench.
Can you remove a playset with posts in concrete?
Yes. Digging out concrete footings costs extra, so you choose: we dig them out, or we cut the posts as low to the ground as possible. We price both at the free on-site estimate, before we start.
Can you take other things from the yard at the same time?
Yes. Trampolines, basketball hoops, hot tubs, patio furniture and yard debris can all go in the same visit. You pay for the total space it takes in our truck.
How is playset removal priced?
By how much room the pieces take up in our truck, with labor, disposal and taxes included. We give you a firm price on site, for free, before any work begins.
